"Die Waschmaschine" is a 2020 Austrian black comedy film directed by Dominik Hartl.
Simon and Lea, a young couple, try to sell their broken washing machine online to get rid of it instead of throwing it in the trash. Hassan answers the ad and collects the machine. But the story gets complicated when Hassan's apartment is flooded. The film is a funny and observational look at prejudice, false pride and a guilt complex.
